Manhattan Fulltime Driver Position Available

Annual salary 80k to 100k.

Besides the principal client, the Driver will routinely be transporting a four-year-old boy and his nanny. Driver will handle school pick-ups and drop-offs when necessary.

Driver will be needed for business hours (Monday through Friday, approx. 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and on-call for evenings and weekends. During the summer months, Driver will escort principal to home in Hamptons (typical drop-off on Thursday with pick-up on Sunday evening). Occasional weekend work; Driver will be on call 24/7. Expect 40 to 60 hours per week. Driver might be asked upon occasion to drive during the run of errands.

At first, the client’s vehicle will remain in client’s garage or at the principal’s residence, but then it is likely the situation will transition to having the Driver take the vehicle home. Client can also provide free parking for the Driver’s car during working hours.

Most of the driving will be in Manhattan (residence in zip code 10023 and works in zip code 10019), with occasional trips to Jersey City and the Hamptons. Client has two vehicles: a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica and a 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLS. Driver will be hired directly by client’s company. Driver must be licensed and carry a firearm and be capable of providing physical protection should any unfortunate situation arise. Driver must be reliable, polished, and professional. Suit and tie required, as is law enforcement Officer background. Driver will first go through a 90-day trial period.

Three weeks vacation and benefits offered. Principal client travels several weeks per years, however Driver is paid. Sometimes the office will use the Driver during this time for errands. When Driver needs off for sick days or vacation, backup Driver will fill in.
