The Vigilance Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is sponsoring the Second Annual Detective Brian Simonsen Motorcycle Run on Sunday, August 1st, 2021.
Det. Brian Simonsen was killed in the line of duty on February 12th, 2019, in the confines of the 102nd Precinct in Queens.
Vigilance LEMC is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to charitable causes concerning Law Enforcement Officers, Military Veterans, and persons in need. All proceeds from the Det. Brian Simonsen Second Annual Motorcycle Run will be donated to the Detective Brian “Smiles” Simonsen Foundation created by his wife, Leanne. The memorial foundation provides scholarships for qualifying and deserving students, as well as supports animal rescue facilities to improve animal welfare and inspire compassion.
