EVENT POSTPONED. NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED. There will be a street renaming for Det. First Grade Peter J. Figoski on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Etna Street in Brooklyn, New York 11208.
Figoski was a Police Officer in the 75 Precinct when he was shot and killed during a burglary in progress on December 12, 2011. He was promoted to Detective posthumously and retroactively to December 11, 2010.
