The Town of Babylon is having a street renaming honoring Detective James A. Schiavone, of the 105 Detective Squad, who passed away on December 12, 2017 from illnesses resulting from his work during the rescue and recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
The street renaming will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the corner of 49th Street and Copiague Road in the Town of Babylon.
All are welcomed.
