The DEA regrets to announce the passing on January 28, 2024, of Floyd Holloway Sr. at the age of 84. Holloway served in the U.S. Army and later as a New York City Transit Police Officer from 1964 until 1991. Holloway was a Transit Police union PBA 2nd and later 1st Vice President, and also served as the Legislative Director and Chairman of the Metropolitan Police Conference, and later the New York State Association of PBA’s. He was, for 40 years, a champion of organized labor and worked tireless for its benefit. He is survived by his wife, his children, his siblings, grandchildren, and many other family members, friends, as well as associates in policing and organized labor. May he rest in peace.
