The NYPD has been authorized to administer first and second dose vaccines and boosters to Active MOS and Retirees and their family members, and flu shots to Active MOS, who fall under the following categories:
Any Active or Retired MOS who is a NYS resident;
Any immediate family member of an Active or Retired MOS who is a NYS resident and 12 years of age or older (18 for Johnson & Johnson). An immediate family member is defined as any eligible relative (includes common-law and civil unions) residing in the same household of an Active or Retired MOS, or any eligible parent, parent-in-law, or grandparent. An eligible individual must be a NYS resident and 12 years of age or older (18 for Johnson & Johnson).
All Active and Retired MOS must have their Department-issued Identification Card. Please wear it on your outermost garment.
Eligible Retired MOS and eligible immediate family members must bring a valid NYS Driver’s License or government-issued identification indicating their NYS address and date of birth.
MOS must escort their immediate family members to the vaccination sites on their own personal time.
All individuals receiving a vaccine must complete a “NYS Immunization Screening and Consent Form.” Click below to access the form.
The NYPD Medical Division is now administering the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine. This is a two-dose vaccine, however it is separated by a minimum of 21 days. It has been determined through vigorous testing to be 95% effective after both doses. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a single-dose vaccination. This vaccine was 66.3% effective in clinical trials at preventing laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 illness.
No appointment is necessary at any of the locations.
At this time, Flu shots are for active MOS only.
