On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, Christopher Ransom — the perpetrator who robbed a T-Mobile store in Queens the night of February 12, 2019, thus setting into motion the shooting death of DEA Delegate Det. Brian Simonsen — pled guilty to charges that included Aggravated Manslaughter, Robbery in the First Degree, and Robbery in the Second Degree. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison.
The DEA thanks all those who came to Queens Supreme Court as a show of support for the Simonsen family.
