On Thursday, July 7, 2022, in Queens Supreme Court, Jagger Freeman received 30 years to life for his role in the death of Det. First Grade Brian Simonsen, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on February 12, 2019, when responding to a robbery in progress at a cell phone store in Queens. The DEA thanks Judge Holder and all those who came to Court to show their support.
