Steven Nieves moved up to the Manhattan South Trustee position, and an election was held for a new Manhattan South Welfare Officer. Voting took place at the DEA on March 18, 2019. The final tally was as follows: Antonio Esposito received 218 votes; Daryl Harris received 61 votes; and Robert Cardona received 19 votes. Esposito of the 9th Squad becomes the new Manhattan South Welfare Officer. The DEA thanks everyone who ran and participated in the election process.
