Jeffrey Scalf, who died of COVID-19, was the subject of an interview with Extra’s Jenn Lahmers for “Answer the Call,” formerly known as the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund, a foundation created by the late baseball legend Rusty Staub to help support the families of first responders who died in the line of duty.
