We hope this finds all of our members and their families healthy and doing the best they can under these unprecedented and very challenging circumstances. We wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of our Police Officers, Firefighters and First Responders who are on the front line of the coronavirus battle, keeping us safe and protecting us from not just this unseen enemy, but all of our “usual” perils here in NYC.
We are here for you whatever the need. In light of the enhanced restrictions on employers in New York State we have directed much of our support staff to work remotely. That is to keep everyone safe and healthy and ready to serve you as soon as these restrictions are lifted. Our physical offices are therefore closed at the present time. Our phone lines are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, however. Our number is (212) 233-3800. Our attorneys are always available by phone to discuss any new or pending matter, or in person in case of an emergency. We realize that life does not stop solely because of these restrictions. We are therefore available for you and to meet in person should the need arise. We are in contact via phone and email with the Department Advocate and Trial Commissioners and have appeared in person at One Police Plaza to resolve matters that needed immediate attention. Should any client need information or just an update on your case, don’t hesitate to call or email the assigned attorney.
We also realize that these times bring new challenges and economic uncertainty to many. If you or a family member have any questions about any legal challenges or difficulties you are facing, please call. As always, consultations are free of charge, so do not hesitate to contact us so we can help, or get you to someone who can.
On behalf of all of us at Karasyk and Moschella, thank you again for your service. Stay safe, and please let us know how we can help you.
Best regards, Jim Moschella, Philip Karasyk, Marissa Gillespie, Shiva Bahmani, Joanne Vitale and Iris Rodriguez
