Christopher (Chris) Shilling joined the Police Department in year 2000. He worked at the 83 Precinct before being assigned to Brooklyn North Narcotics. Chris was promoted to Detective in 2006. In 2009, he was elected the unit’s Delegate, and, in 2016, elected DEA Welfare Officer for Brooklyn North. In 2017, he was elevated to the position of Brooklyn North Trustee. He continues to represent his fellow Detectives in hearings and in the trial room, as well as interact with the line-of-duty families, with dedication, honesty, and integrity.
