Ronald (Ron) F. Luparello joined the Department in 1995. He was promoted to Detective in 2006. Ron became the Queens Narcotics Delegate in 2019. In 2022, he was elected to the DEA Queens Welfare Officer position. In 2023, he was elevated to Queens Trustee. Ron is committed to helping our members and line-of-duty families with dedication, honesty, and integrity. He is currently spearheading the union’s Strategic Planning Committee, looking for special offers and benefits to bring our active and retired membership of more than 21,000 NYPD Detectives.
