Det. Shantay Neal-Baker, who passed away in the line of duty from COVID-19, was not only a committed public servant, but also a Lupus warrior. Despite her diagnosis, she became a national advocate for the Lupus Foundation, raising awareness and funds for research into this challenging autoimmune disease.
