On Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of 50th Avenue and 5th Street in Queens, NY 11101, in the confines of the 108 Precinct, there will be a street renaming for Det. Mary “Mae” Foley who went on the job in 1923, and who retired in December of 1945. Foley was a pioneering female Detective and you can read more about her on the following links:
