For current participants in AFLAC’s DEA Hospital Indemnity Plan(s), treatment will be covered due to a COVID-19 infection. According to our AFLAC representatives, there is no policy language that would cause these policies not to pay. These policies will pay full benefits directly regardless of any other insurance and regardless of the virus being a pandemic.
