On June 7th, in Albany, State Senator Todd Kaminsky with Assemblyman Brian Curran held a plaque dedication and ceremony honoring the late Det. Steven McDonald. Kaminsky represents Rockville Centre and Malverne, where the McDonalds live. The State Senate unanimously passed a resolution renaming the Nassau County portion of the Southern State Parkway the “The Detective Steven McDonald Memorial Highway.”
