The results of the election were tabulated on July 31, 2025. Vincent Signoretti of the 26 Squad won 56.17% of the vote, and Matthew Zito of 23 Squad won 43.83% of the vote.
Therefore, the new Manhattan North Welfare Officer is Vincent Signoretti. His election takes effect immediately with the pending retirement of John Hourican from the NYPD and the elevation of Richard Baboolal to the Manhattan North Trustee position.
