The two perpetrators involved in the hold-up that facilitated the death Det. Brian Simonsen were arraigned on Monday, March 11, 2019 in front of Judge Holder, Queens Supreme Court, with a video hook-up to Bellevue Hospital. Christopher Ransom, at Bellevue, and Jagger Freeman, in Court, were charged with murder, manslaughter, assault, and robbery. Both perpetrators were remanded without bail and face up to 50 years in prison.
