The daughter of retired Det. Samuel Maldonado has pancreatic cancer. Juliene (“Jay”) Maldonado is the 39-year-old mother of a 12-year-old daughter. During and after the attacks on the World Trade Center, Jay worked on John Street in the financial district for the New York City Environmental Control Board (ECB) and it’s a very good possibility that Jay’s cancer is a result of 9/11.
Jay’s friends and family have set up a “Go Fund Me” page called “Jay’s Medical Fund” to assist with her bills resulting from her condition, as well as assist with her family obligations at this critical time.
