On March 14, 2023, Detective Daniela Rizzo of the Office of the Chief of Patrol, and her domestic partner P.O. Nikaurys Martinez of PSA 9, were displaced from their home after a fire decimated their apartment and killed their young cat. All of their belongings — a lifetime of memories — were destroyed.
