First Responder Needs Assistance

10-13 for Firefighter James Stack

Active Detective Christopher Stack of the Manhattan Special Victims Squad has a cousin, James Stack, who is a 31-year-old firefighter and paramedic for the Tequesta Fire Department in Palm Beach County, Florida.

James was recently diagnosed with Stage 4, T-Cell, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Unfortunately, because James only has about 3-and-a-half years on the job, he is on unpaid medical leave and is not covered by his Department’s medical insurance for his procedures (which requires five years on the job).

To help the family in James’ time of need, his friends in the Tequesta Fire Department set up a “Go Fund Me” account to assist him with his bills.
