On April 2, 2026, DEA President Scott Munro sent a letter to NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani suggesting the City initiate a campaign calling for the public to show respect to members of the service. Since his Administration launched a public relations campaign to combat “catcalling” and other forms of sexual harassment of women on the street, we proposed he institute a campaign for equal respect for law enforcement and public servants.
