The DEA’s prescription benefit manager, Capital Rx, is transitioning to a new name effective immediately to Judi Rx. Capital Rx has evolved into a unified healthcare technology company necessitating the name change to Judi Rx.
1. The DEA’s prescription drug plan and coverage will remain unchanged.
2. The name change does not impact member access to medication.
3. No new identification cards are necessary since the Bin# and PCN# remain unchanged so current Capital Rx ID cards remain valid.
4. Members using the Capital Rx App do not need to take any action as the App will automatically reboot itself to the new Judi Rx App.
5. Capital Rx has notified all their participating pharmacies networks so there will be no disruption with pharmacy access.
6. The Logo will now read “Judi Rx, formerly Capital Rx” for the remainder of 2026. Commencing January 1st, it will just be Judi Rx.
7. Members accessing the Capital Rx Website, member portal and other digital touchpoints will see the change to Judi Rx immediately.
