It has come to the attention of the DEA that, because of an NYPD computer glitch, some members have not had dues deducted from their bi-weekly paychecks. If any member is not having dues deducted, the member should contact DEA Treasurer Paul Morrison at (212) 587-1000 as soon as possible. Members in arrears in dues could be in jeopardy of losing life insurance coverage, DEA representation, and other benefits provided by their dues payments. We hope to avoid any incident where the City is forced to take retroactive dues in one lump sum once the error and underpayment finally is discovered. So please, check your pay stubs as soon as possible.
