Jacqueline (“Jackie”) Botta is the daughter of NYPD Detective Anthony C. Botta, who retired out of the Queens Robbery Squad in June of 2022. On February 28, 2016, Jackie was diagnosed with FSGS — Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. There is currently no known cure for this disease. Jackie’s kidneys have taken a turn for the worse and she is currently on the transplant registry. Jackie is currently attending college at Western Connecticut State University and has been an active advocate for her disease.
