Full-Time Security Driver Needed (Direct Hire – NYC)

A private client in New York City is seeking to hire a full-time Security Driver for a direct position with the client.

The schedule is expected to be Monday through Friday, averaging approximately 50 – 60 hours per week, with consistent overtime. The client anticipates an additional 10 – 20 hours of overtime per week on a routine basis. The client has proposed a base annual salary of $95,000. With the expected overtime workload, this compensation would effectively increase to approximately $130,000 – $165,000 annually, depending on weekly overtime hours and applicable overtime pay structure.

Regardless, Finest Executive Protection will be requesting a revised compensation arrangement of —

• $95,000 for a 4-day work week, or
• $95,000 base salary for a 5-day work week, plus expected overtime to $130 – 165k.

If the client elects to move forward with a 4-day schedule, Finest will also recommend hiring a consistent backup driver one day per week to ensure full coverage and prevent driver fatigue given the expected overtime demands.

Hours will be approximately 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with consistent overtime, Monday through Friday.

Vehicle will be stored at a Garage on East 71st Street and the client’s residence is in Greenwich Village. The car is a Cadillac Escalade, and also occasionally a Mercedes sedan. The driver can park his/her personal car in the garage parking spot, after removing the client’s vehicle at no additional cost to the driver. Most of the driving will be in New York City. The client resides in zip code 10011. The client works in zip code 10154.  The Driver will wrap up approximately at 7:00 p.m. The Client has not received any personal threats, however, former NYPD is highly preferred and carry permit is required.
