Quality Fire Protection Consultants Inc. is looking to hire retirees to conduct drills for both fire and non-fire emergencies in commercial office buildings and hotels. The company is comprised of retired FDNY Officers, Firefighters, NYPD Officers, Detectives, and Police Officers. Full-time and part-time work available (four to five days).
Job entails the following: provide clients with fire and life safety code compliance; conduct fire and non-fire emergency drills for office buildings and hotels; conduct fire safety training/emergency action plan training (non-fire emergencies); assist in the preparation and review of the buildings comprehensive fire and life safety plans; review and inspect building record log books; consult with building management.
Qualifications include the following: good communication skills; organized; dependable; basic computer skills, including e-mail, word, and power-point. Competitive salary, two weeks’ vacation to start, five sick/personal leave days, paid holidays, no nights or weekends.
