The annual tribute honoring SSG James D. McNaughton is returning, possibly for the final time on Saturday afternoon, February 1st, 2025. There is a chance that this is the last event of the 20-year run. This event is in honor of SSG James McNaughton, a New York City Police Officer and Army Reservist who was KIA by sniper fire while guarding prisoners at a camp in Iraq.
Over the years, this annual tribute has grown into one of the biggest events on Long Island. Jimmy’s family, friends, and fellow Officers and Units all band together to stay connected, have some fun, and share some laughs, tears, and memories, and most importantly, to celebrate the life of a true American Hero.
