The DEA regrets to announce the death of Det. First Grade Matthew Santoro. “Matty” retired from the PD and DEA on June 30, 2002, and his last DEA Board position was Borough Director of Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island. His wake is March 10th and 11th, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Scalia Funeral Home, 28 Eltingville Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10312.
The funeral is Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Child RC Church, 4747 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312. Burial will be at Moravian Cemetery on Staten Island. He will be greatly missed.
