Detective Charles F. Aniano passed away on August 27, 2024. He was appointed to the NYC Housing Police on January 20, 1987. He was promoted to Detective in Housing on July 25, 1994, and merged into the NYPD on April 30, 1995. He retired June 30, 1998, out of the Housing Bureau, PSA 9. He is the father of active Detective Joseph Aniano of ESS, Truck #1.
