There will be a street renaming and memorial mass on Friday, July 19, 2024, for 9/11-LOD Det. Christopher E. Cranston, at Sterling Avenue and 10th Street in Staten Island, New York 10306, beginning at 10:00 a.m. At noon, the mass will begin at St. Christopher RC Church, at 130 Midland Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306. Det. Cranston passed away in July of 2019 from his work on the rescue and recovery from the World Trade Center attacks.
