The DEA regrets to announce the passing on August 6, 2023, of John (“Jack”) William Beisel. Jack was a New York City Police Department Medal of Honor recipient and retired as a Detective 2nd Grade in 1996, and retired in 2006 from the Queens County District Attorney’s Office as an Investigator after 38 years of combined service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass on Thursday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 280 East Main Street, Smithtown.
Stop by and have a drink to toast Jack between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10 at the Knights of Columbus, 199 Smithtown Blvd, Nesconset, NY 11767.
