The DEA regrets to announce the passing of retired Det. Second Grade Lewis A. Lilla. Det. Lilla was appointed to the force on January 26, 1988, and promoted to third grade Detective on October 4, 1995. He earned second grade on December 21, 1999, and retired out of the 109 Squad on February 28, 2002. His death is pending post 9/11 LOD status. May he rest in peace.
