Cigna Offers Free Counseling for Military Veterans

Cigna, a leader in U.S. Health Care systems, is a proud employer of America’s veterans, and to show their support for our nation’s military and First Responders, Cigna has created a free, confidential Veterans Support Line to assist veterans, as well as their caregivers, with tele-mental health support, 24-hours per day, 365-days per year.

The service is completely confidential, as well as free. And callers — either veterans or their families and caregivers — can remain anonymous. Cigna does not ask for military verification, either.

The Support Line is staffed by licensed, Cigna health care specialists, some of whom are veterans themselves. They assist veterans with finding additional support services tailored to their needs. They can address issues such as PTSD, chronic pain management, and causes of stress, anxiety, addiction, sleep deprivation, and depression.
