The January 3, 2024, issue of the civil service newspaper The Chief Leader covered the recent DEA discussion with members of the press and politicians about the spike in the number of assaults on law enforcement Officers. DEA President Paul DiGiacomo and other union leaders attribute the lawlessness to anti-police legislation and the rhetoric of politicians.
