On March 26, 2021, DEA labor attorneys Steven McQuade and Vincent Pitta filed a motion to intervene in the NYS Attorney General’s lawsuit against the NYPD seeking a monitor over the handling of protests that took place over the summer of 2020. We are challenging that demand for a monitor. The Court denied the motion, however left open the possibility of the DEA intervening later in the case.
