On February 12, 2020, the DEA, LBA, and CEA co-signed and hand delivered a letter to City Hall urging New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio to call a meeting in Albany that would bring law enforcement officials from throughout the State together with New York State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to resolve successfully the issues with justice reform that have currently unleashed havoc and lawlessness in New York.
