The DEA sent a letter to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over his office’s failure to follow through on the prosecution of a defendant (Kenneth Paraison) who threw his urine all over one of our Detectives when our member was at Manhattan Central Booking picking up a different perpetrator who was wanted on a federal arrest warrant. The DEA will also be lodging a complaint with the Attorney Grievance Committee, as well as the New York State Attorney General’s Office Victims’ Rights Office, regarding the lack of a timely prosecution of Paraison.
