The New York City Organization of Public Service Retirees recently won a $53 Million class action against the City of New York. Retirees on Medicare/Senior Care are entitled to be reimbursed for copays they paid between January 1st, 2022, and January 31st, 2023.
Affected retirees should have received a paper mailing from the third-party claims administrator, Atticus Administration. Retirees should also receive an email from Emblem Health, if their email is on file with Emblem.

Affected members have until October 30th, 2026, to file a claim either on the portal or by US Mail.
