Detective,
The DEA has been advised by the PBA that the personal vehicle of an officer in Brooklyn South was sabotaged. Upon returning to his car at the end of tour, the officer observed all of the tire lug nuts had been loosened in an attempt to harm our fellow cop.
Every Detective is strongly urged to inspect their personal vehicle and all department vehicles for any possible similar act before use. If an act of vandalism or suspicious damage is discover, please notify a supervisor immediately and then your DEA Delegate.
It is clear that police in New York City and across the country are under attack. Now more than ever, we must remain united in looking out for one another.
