Only 10 days after two NYPD officers were shot — two U.S. Marshals were shot and wounded this morning in the Bronx while with their Detective partners searching for a wanted violent felon. The very real dangers of policing could not be more evident. The prayers of every DEA member are with the wounded Marshals and the Detective who was subsequently injured at the scene for a full and speedy recovery. These cops are heroes of New York City.
