Talks with the City about not taxing the uniform allowance have been resurrected. The DEA is developing an affidavit for members to sign and submit to the union in order to receive the full amount.
Please note: You are eligible to become a lifetime member at the age of 65 if you have no outstanding dues
Know More About Retiree Dues:
To remain a member “in good standing” and to become a lifetime member with the DEA; you must have your dues paid in full, from your retirement date up until the year you turn 65 years of age.
