FDNY Lt. Joseph W. Maiello recently passed away while on active duty at Engine 163 Ladder 83 in the Castleton Corners section of Staten Island. He had served the New York City Fire Department for more than 22 years. He leaves behind a wife and two teenaged children.
The FDNY has established a scholarship fund for the two Maiello children’s higher education. Any donation you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
