There will be a fundraiser for Charlee Citera, the eight-year-old daughter of Det. Tommy Citera, the DEA’s Emergency Services Unit Delegate from Truck #5. 100 % of the proceeds raised from this event will be donated to Charlee’s parents — Det. Tommy Citera and his wife, Jamie — to use however they see fit for Charlee: her transportation to doctor visits, lodging, food, etc. during this very stressful time battling Charlee’s disease. Charlee is a funny, loveable, friendly and charming student at P.S. 36. She’s an athletic gymnast and a member of a softball team, but she was recently diagnosed with AML: Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This harsh illness has taken the Citera family by surprise and the financial burden is stressful. But, Charlee is a courageous warrior who has not let the news of her illness squelch her spirit.
