Shira Antonio, the 38-year-old mother of Adriana and Luis Antonio, Jr. — the children of Det. Luis Antonio of the NYPD Intelligence Division — has end stage renal disease and needs your help finding a compatible kidney donor. Even though Det. Antonio and Shira are no longer married, he writes, “Shira is a great human being and the greatest mother my kids can have.” Even if you cannot donate a kidney, please share her story on social media and it might lead to her finding a compatible kidney donor.
