Retired Det. Albert Calise is presently enrolled in the Kidney Transplant Program and desperately needs a kidney donor.
Calise joined the force on May 3, 1971, and was promoted to Detective on August 24, 1984. He retired out the Staten Island Crimes Against Persons Squad on October 31, 1987.
Det. Calise’s kidneys have been failing and he recently completed all the testing which confirms he is qualified for a transplant. He is currently a patient with the Stony Brook Hospital Kidney Center. His Living Donor Coordinator is Ashley Cirrone, RN and she can be reached at (631) 444-6944.
