Retired Det. Second Grade Nanette S. Egerton is the Founder of Hoops At Sea & Land, Inc., a Brooklyn-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to youth development through basketball, education, and cultural exposure. Their programs use basketball as an entry point to expose young people to new environments, broaden their worldviews, and reinforce values such as discipline, teamwork, accountability, and academic growth.
Hoops At Sea & Land is currently hosting a digital fundraiser with Krispy Kreme. Each dozen doughnuts costs $16, and $8.50 from every order will be donated directly to Hoops At Sea & Land to support youth programming. The doughnuts can be picked up at 370 different location within the USA, and the digital purchase does not have any expiration date!

Hoops At Sea & Land has been accepted as an NYC Contractor Vendor (#VS00105111). They have been actively working with The Boys Club of New York, NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, the 67th Precinct (P.O. Bellingeri and Det. Shaheed) through Saturday Night Lights, the Explorers Program, and a Youth & Parents Conference meeting.
