Detective Curtis Cato began his career with the New York City Police Department in 2005 as a Police Cadet. Through hard work, dedication and a commitment to serving others, he earned the distinguished rank of Detective in 2015.
Having spent his entire career in the 44th Precinct as a Cadet, Police Officer and now as a Detective, Curtis has gained firsthand experience in nearly every aspect of police work. His years of investigative experience, combined with his commitment to advocating for fellow detectives has made him a trusted leader within the Detective Endowment Association.
As the DEA Bronx Welfare Officer and the44th Precinct Detective Squad Delegate, Detective Cato understands that effective representation requires more than investigative expertise it requires integrity, discretion, and a proven commitment to serving others. His experience both on the street and as a union representative allows him to advocate effectively for the detectives he represents.
