Det. Patrick Caprice, who retired out of the 73 Precinct in 2006, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2021. It is unclear at this point if his death will be medically linked to his line of duty shooting injuries. Unfortunately, Patrick’s death was very sudden and unexpected and he leaves behind two very young children: a three-year-old daughter and a four-month-old daughter whose mother passed away giving birth. Pat’s eldest daughter, Chrystal, age 28, is now the head of her family. Despite her discomfort asking for help, this Go Fund Me page was established to help her pay for her father’s funeral expenses, but more importantly to help provide for her father’s babies, who lost both of their parents this year.
